The Earth and The Universe

We can see the Sun during the day. We can see the Moon and the Stars at night. The Sun, the Moon and the Stars are not the only objects in the sky. Planets are present too. One of the planets is our home. It is called Earth.

The Sun and the eight planets are part of the Solar System. The eight planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

The Sun is in the centre of the Solar System. All the eight planets move around the Sun in a large oval path. The planets also spin by itself.
